One Day Retreat
"Horses, Heart & Collage"
August 29th

Spend a restorative day exploring creativity, connection, and the quiet wisdom of horses. This one-day retreat combines guided time with the sanctuary herd, gentle observation, and simple horse interactions with a relaxed collage-making experience.

No horse or art experience is required. Participants will gather colors, words, textures, and images that reflect what they notice, feel, and discover during their time with the horses. The finished collage becomes a personal reminder of the day – and of the insights, possibilities, and connections that emerged.

Come prepared to slow down, create freely, and experience the horses in an entirely new way.

Spend a day immersed in Lucinda B’s Being Herd & Seen™ approach to Intentional Horsemanship.

Through guided observation, evidence-based learning, and gentle experiences with the Riversong herd, participants will explore how horses think, communicate, learn, and respond to the world around them.

Designed for horse owners and non-horse owners alike, this retreat offers a deeper understanding of the horse – and of how we Show Up in their presence. No riding or previous horse experience is required.

3 Day Retreat
"Deep Dive into the

Equine Mandala"

This three-day retreat offers an in-depth introduction to the Equine Mandala within the Being Herd & Seen™ programs.

Designed for horse owners and non-horse owners alike, it explores evidence-based science about equine behavior, communication, emotions, learning, and the horse’s experience of the world.

No riding is involved, and no previous horse experience is required.

Friday – Arrival and Welcome

4:00 p.m.

Arrive, settle in, and meet the group. The evening will include a relaxed screening of selected horse videos, conversation, and a bring-your-own dinner.

Saturday

10:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Participants will explore the major elements of the Equine Mandala and begin connecting the science to what they see and experience within the herd.

Saturday evening: Community potluck dinner.

Sunday – Integration and Closing

10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

The retreat concludes with reflection, discussion, and practical ways to apply what you have learned. Participants will leave with a richer understanding of horses and a new way of seeing the dynamic relationship between horse and human.
